This car is outstanding. Roomy, comfortable, and very fun to drive! Hard top is the only way to go! This car is worth it for the price. familiar with the schedule things need to be done on the car, it is a very enjoyable car, however maintenance is a bit costly on the V8 motor that mine had.
Spark plugs are good for 35K, and iridium and platinum do not run very well in the car. I switched the vehicle to full synthetic at 65,000 miles, and I have not had any problems from it.
The water pump on these cars is known to give on the 5.7L hemi around 90-100K, so mine was done while I owned it on preventative maintenance. Besides that, the vehicle ran like a dream, and was comfortable to drive. I really only ended up selling it because I enjoy driving manual cars more than automatic cars. If this car had a manual V8 I would have kept it forever.
Interior on the vehicle is comfortable if you are used to an automatic vehicle driving position, but it did become uncomfortable to me on long trips after driving a manual car with a sportier style seat much more than I drove this car.
The style of the vehicle is beautiful, and very timeless. I even think the second generation is more timeless looking than the third generation of Chrysler 300.
Performance was very good, the V8 performed without fail, and always was a pleasure to drive on the highway, as well as in the city.
The value of the vehicle is average, there are some vehicles where the cost may be lower with the similar features, but they were not available with the V8 option I was seeking at the time of purchasing this car.
The interior of the car was attractive and functional, the only complaint is some of the plastics used were a bit hard, but the inside design of the car made everything accessible and very usable. Uconnect is easy to use, and I never had any issues with the system.
The radio system is clear and sounds very good for the price point of the car- I used the DVD system on my car on breaks at work, the surround sound sounds good and the video quality is acceptable on the center console screen.
